Easy to book bus tickets

I used BusOnlineTicket to grab a bus ticket from KL to Penang last month. It was pretty straightforward. Just picked my dates, found a good time, and booked it. No fuss at all, which was nice. The whole experience felt super easy.

Good value for train ticket

I was looking for an ETS train ticket and checked a few sites. BusOnlineTicket had a decent price, and I managed to snag a small discount with a promo they had going. It made the ETS Gold ticket feel like a good deal. For my first time using them, it felt like I got good value for my money. I'd definitely check them again for future trips to save a bit.

Reliable for bus travel

I've used BusOnlineTicket a few times now, mainly for bus tickets between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. This last time was just as consistent as my previous bookings. The site is always reliable, and I can usually find the operator and time I need. No surprises, which is what I look for. It's why I keep coming back when I need to travel between the cities.

Detailed ferry booking experience

I recently booked a ferry ticket to Langkawi through BusOnlineTicket. The ordering process was clear, with options to select different departure times and operators. I received the e-ticket in my email within minutes after payment, which was convenient. The website interface was easy to navigate on my phone. The ferry ride itself was standard, but the booking part was smooth. I didn't need customer support this time, but everything went as expected. It took 3 days for the email confirmation to show up after the initial instant booking, which was a little slow, but it came.

My travel plans might change. What's their policy on changing bus departure times? Is it a huge hassle or pretty straightforward?

B Brittany Torres 2 days ago
I think you can change some tickets but there might be a fee or a deadline. I had to reschedule an ETS ticket once and it wasn't too bad, but I did it pretty far in advance.

It depends on the operator and ticket type, afaik. Some allow changes, some don't, or they charge a penalty. Best to check the specific ticket's terms before you buy.

Trying to book a bus to Malacca. Can I choose my seat or is it just assigned randomly? Prefer to sit by the window.

L Linda Gomez 3 weeks ago
Most of the time you can choose your seat! It shows you a little bus layout during the booking process. Not all operators offer it but many do.

Yeah, you usually get to pick. It'll show you if a seat is available or already taken. Just look for the seat selection step.

Hey guys, thinking of booking a bus from KL to Singapore for next month. Does anyone know if they have any ongoing new user discounts? Or maybe a first-time booking thing?

A Abigail Scott 1 month ago
Yeah, they usually do. I got like RM5 off my first booking last year. Just check their promotions page or sometimes it pops up at checkout.

They definitely do new user promos! I think I saw something recently about 10% cashback if you pay with GrabPay, too. Might be worth checking the fine print though, sometimes it's specific routes.

Is BusOnlineTicket legit? Never used it before and kinda wary about booking international bus tickets online.

D Donna G. 1 week ago
Totally legit. I've used them multiple times for trips between Malaysia and Singapore. Never had an issue with tickets or anything.

Yeah it's legit, been around for ages. Way easier than trying to get tickets at the station, especially for popular routes.

Are those ETS Platinum tickets really worth the extra cash compared to Gold? What's the actual difference?

A Adam Sanchez 2 weeks ago
Platinum is usually faster and makes fewer stops, plus you get slightly better seats sometimes. Gold is still good though, just takes a bit longer.

P Paul Jones 2 weeks ago
I took Platinum once, it was nice, a bit more legroom and definitely quicker. Gold is perfectly fine for most trips though, not a huge difference unless you're really in a hurry or want that extra bit of comfort.
